HOUSTON – Robert Dale Morgan, a longtime friend to the George R. Brown Convention Center  who brought many sporting events to Houston, died over the weekend after a recent illness. He was 50. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke’s Methodist Church at 3471 Westheimer.
