HOUSTON, Texas – Houston Mayor Bill White issued
a proclamation to Hewlett-Packard proclaiming September
17-21 to be HP Technology Forum Days in Houston in recognition
of the big high-tech conference at the George R. Brown
Convention Center.
Jim McNally, marketing manager for HP Technology Solutions
Group/Americas, accepted the mayoral decree from Luther
Villagomez, general manager of the George R. Brown.
An estimated 8,000 visitors from all over the world
to attend HP's premier education conference for in-depth
technical training, networking, product demonstrations
and knowledge sharing. The agenda included hundreds
of breakout meetings, seminars, tutorials and lab sessions.
The high-tech conference ended Thursday.
